Labrador Retriever

The Labrador Retriever comes in three colors: black, chocolate, and yellow. The layered coat is slightly oily. It helps keep the animal warm and afloat when retrieving game in the water. The coat also resists water, so it dries quickly.

Breed Background: The Labrador Retriever was developed in Newfoundland. This breed was named after the nearby Labrador Sea.
